HOW DO I GET THROUGH A BREAK-UP HEALTHILY AND WITHOUT TOO MUCH DAMAGE?

He seemed to be your prince, but in one fell swoop, he throws you off the horse. It's over. Swallow. IT'S OVER, it echoes. You gather your things, hug him one last time, and hop on your bike. This is it, this was it.

But we were supposed to get married?

We've all experienced it at least once. The heart-wrenching feeling of heartbreak. The feeling that the world is ending, the feeling that everyone around you is happy in love except for you.

So how do you get through this miserable period without too much damage? Because in the end, we all know that that bar of Tony's and those tubs of B&J's only give you a fleeting sense of satisfaction. When the scale shows +2 kg and your favorite jeans are just a bit too tight, we can bring out the box of tissues again. And that's exactly what we want to avoid. Let’s do it the healthy way.

Now I'm really not going to burden you with apple slices and almond paste (by the way, really my favorite, but eating it on the counter with a spoon straight from the jar AND with cinnamon, a lot of cinnamon) or oatmeal cookies. No way, I have something much tastier. Something that makes you forget that jerk for a moment.

Fudge. FUDGE. So delicious, oh yes, and so terribly bad. But man oh man, do I have a great alternative for you. This Coconut Fudge is TO DIE FOR, you want it, you’re going to make it. Healthy and super satisfying. Put on your favorite hoodie, grab your sunglasses, and make a sprint to the supermarket. In no time, you’ll be under the blankets with a delicious portion of comfort food and Netflix weather...

What do you need?

Two packs of coconut butter (available at any store)

A small container of blueberries

One teaspoon of vanilla extract or the seeds from a fresh vanilla pod

Two tablespoons of maple syrup/agave syrup/honey

Make sure the coconut butter is at room temperature and put all the ingredients in the mixer. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and spread out the fudge. Also, make sure the fudge is no higher than two centimeters. Optionally, sprinkle some coconut flakes on top and place the tray in the freezer for an hour. Store the fudge in the refrigerator.

And it will be okay, it will all be okay...

Wie runt de wereld? MEISJES.
