JUST LIKE AT THE HAIRDRESSER

Why does your hair never look as perfect as when the hairdresser does it? Of course, it has to do with their skilled fingers, but don't underestimate the tools either. Use good products and go all out with your hairdryer, because with such a weak puffing device, it will never turn out well.

You need a ‘strong stream’ of air to close your hair cuticles. Enter: the groomed and polished look. But since you want your hair to stay looking good for a while, the temperature shouldn't be too high either. We got to use the hairdryers from Dyson, which have developed the perfect hairdryer through a lot of research: the Dyson Supersonic™. It has a lot of power (so beautiful, closed cuticles AND you're done quickly) and the perfect temperature, as it measures your hair temperature twenty times per second and adjusts accordingly. And it's as quiet as possible, so you can continue discussing which outfit you'll choose in the meantime. We have already filmed the perfect ‘done’ look for you with our friends from The Building and Dyson. Do try this at home.

Was this all a bit too fast? Here’s the detailed version so you know exactly how to do it all yourself. Or rather, how you should do it.

Step 1

After washing your hair, brush it out well and squeeze all the moisture out of your hair.

Step 2

Prep your hair with a product: a volumizing hair mousse at the roots and a drop of oil at the ends.

Step 3

Dry your entire hair.

Step 4

Section your hair and start at the bottom. Polish your hair strand by strand with the hairdryer and a round, medium brush.

Step 5

All done with blow-drying? Then you decide your parting. Use a fine-tooth comb, as it really creates a straight line. When you're satisfied, set your hair with hairspray. And to mix it up, occasionally wear one side behind your ear. Guaranteed success.
