Look of the day

Maud Vos

Good lordie lord. It is really freezing today. But luckily, there is Maud! Yes, that rhymes and all. This originally from Utrecht has been living in Amsterdam for four years now, collects beautiful magazines, and struggles with a very serious Pinterest addiction. By the way, she is also quite good at handing out hearts on Insta. Cos and & Other Stories are currently Maud's favorite brands, but hey, if possible, it's all about Filippa K, Acne, and Sandro. That minor Independent Fashion Magazines at AMFI suddenly sounds very logical.

This Hutspot employee brings me to entirely new insights. Namely, how you can look quite on point with layers, without suffering from the snowman effect. Today a classic black-and-white look with a touch of Parisienne. Me like... I personally always have a Serious Problem when that awful winter comes around again. Then there's about five percent usable material left in my wardrobe. And all the rest I actually find too silly, too fattening, too woolly, too sausage-like... But, here it is. That turtleneck from Cos seems like a real solution, then you can immediately leave that scarf out. And a nice you-must-have-in-your-wardrobe blazer from Zara on top and you stay warm right away. The pants (also Cos) may seem a bit drafty, but hey, who says there isn't a wool thermal pant underneath? Three-quarters, though, otherwise those cool Urban Outfitters net socks won't look good, but hey, it can work. Hmm, maybe I should also think more in layers. And in leather. Everything with leather is warm, so also these H&M Studio special leather edition shoes. Another bag from Selected Femme for decoration and some earrings from Afra Amba and Monocraft and you're ready to face the cold fashionably. Still a cold little ball? Well, then just steal your friend's cap, just like Maud? Nice going.
