There is only one question being asked these days and that is: “What are you wearing for Christmas?” It starts at home from the moment my daughters open their eyes and it goes silently (well, not exactly silently) through to the office where ‘the outfit’ is the discussion of the day.

Choosing the right shoes is also ‘a thing’. Because it has to be trendy, fun, and chic, but if possible, you should also be able to dance a little in them (I personally had one of these choreographies in mind). And we also think it’s a shame if we only wear them for one evening. Then I have such good news. Because Dr. Martens are completely ‘en vogue’ and also, moreover, especially under a romantic dress or a flared petticoat. A blazer on top that you style down for the occasion with two stripes of gold-colored ribbon on the sleeves, and even a sneaker is nowadays considered bon ton.

But for the more classic types like yours truly, a high heel is of course also good. You can just wear them comfortably again after the holidays under your ripped jeans.
