milan trends #3

It was clearly all about the styling in Milan. There isn't one trend that stands out on its own; it's in the mix and that's what makes your outfit exciting. Make sure the base is something with a military twist; then you're good for next autumn. I saw beautiful over-the-top decorated jackets with emblems, gold embroidery, and a double cord knot closure at Dolce & Gabbana. At Etro, a short military, almost fanfare-like jacket was worn over an ankle-length velvet dress. Surprising!

And the twins Dean and Dan from Dsquared2 mixed it up cheerfully: samurai meets Victorian meets uniform. This created a very rich and surprising image with lots of layers in different materials. And of course, styled very sexy with a high-heeled decorated sandal, because come on, it has to remain feminine.
