My life in a bag

It's Tuesday which means it's time to introduce you to a new bag. This week it's Rianne's turn. Curious to know what the story is behind this bag of hers? And it's content? Check it out here.

How many bags do you own?

‘Not a lot. I usually stick to one bag for a longer period of time. I currently have three in my room.’

What's the story behind this one?

‘I've had this bag for about two years now. It was a gift from my mom and I've been using it daily ever since. It was a lot prettier at first and had a braided belt around it. But since I've used it so often, it's starting to fall apart. But I like it.’

How well do you take care of your bags?

‘To be honest, not that great, haha. My bag is my bag, and so I drag it along everywhere I go. I'm the girl you'll see at a club who still has her bag with her, so my collection go through quite a lot. From the fat guy on the subway who accidentally sits on it to the glass of vodka that spills all over it. All of which have happened.’

What about its content?

‘The content is usually the same. I remember once thinking: hey, my bad series. And that's when I found out I had a rotten banana at he bottom of it. Completely black. Not really a great find. But other than that I'm really organised.’

What do you always carry around with you?

‘The standard things like my house keys and wallet. A pair of sunglasses too, lip balm and a bottle of water. And when I have something fun to do, I bring a few makeup products that fit into the pocket inside of my bag; like a concealer and lip liner.’

What do you think are the best qualities of a bag?

‘Obviously it has to be big enough for all my things to fit into it. And it has a way of topping off your outfit. It's capable of giving your outfit that boost it was missing.’

Which bag is still on your wish list ?

‘A vintage Louis Vuitton sounds divine. But one that's definitely been warned and looks used. Love it!’
