My life in a bag

If you look at this girl, you can really see that she has a bit of taste. It won't surprise you that she is a model and that she always knows how to pull out the cutest outfit from the closet and always has a great hairstyle. We almost forget to look at that little favorite of hers that hangs over her shoulder. Curious about what's inside and how careful she is with it? Isaya is going to tell you.

How many bags do you have?

“Haha, I actually never counted them. But I estimate between 15 and 20.”

What is the story behind this bag?

“I bought this bag a few years ago at the Waterlooplein from a stall with all vintage items. I love going through all the stalls (where there is also a lot of trash) to pick out my new treasures.”

How do you handle your bag?

“I don't necessarily treat my bag super carefully, but it remains one of my favorite summer bags so I definitely value it. And I must say it is still in good shape for its age!”

What about the content?

“I actually always carry a small bag like this one where I put my things that I want to have on hand quickly, like my wallet, phone, keys, and lip balm. And besides that, I also always have a larger canvas bag with me where I always put a bottle of water, an extra cardigan or sweater to always be prepared for the Dutch weather (I'm quite a cold person) and the charger for my phone.”

What do you think are the best features of a bag?

“First of all, a bag is super practical, you can take everything with you in your bag, yaaay! Besides, even a small bag can add great value to your outfit. A nice finishing touch!”

Which one is still on your wishlist?

“Hmm… We can go two ways here. Either I go for a chill backpack from The North Face, or for a fancy shoulder bag from Chanel. But okay, if I didn't have to pay for the bag myself, the choice would be made quickly haha.”
