My life in a bag

It's Tuesday again. And that means it's time for a new bag. We want to introduce you to the favorite of our Kiki.
How many bags do you have?
“I think about five that I use regularly and still find really cool. And then about ten that are actually just sitting sadly gathering dust in the attic. Poor them.”
What is the story behind this bag?
“I stepped into Shoebaloo and almost the first thing I saw was this beauty from Lanvin. I was really in love right away. It's a pretty basic bag, which means you can wear it with almost any outfit. I had been looking for such a model for a long time. I thought the fringes were great, the leather was beautiful, and with the wide strap on the side, you even look slimmer. In short: this one just had to come home with me.‘
How do you handle your bag?
“I can very hypocritically say that I always store this bag neatly in the dustbag at night and clean it thoroughly once in a while but then I would be lying. I live, my bag lives, it's that simple. But you won't see me quickly with this bag while walking around or at a festival. It's just a bit too precious for that.”, ‘Happiness is finding half a bag of gummy bears in the bottom of your purse.” Seriously. At the bottom of my bag, there are almost always crumbs, nuts, or other small snacks. Once a week, I dump everything upside down into the trash can and I'm good to go again.”
What about the content?
“I always put in way more than is actually nice. I really need to stop that. My planner, an apple, cigarettes, and makeup everywhere. This phone junkie can't live without her iPhone, charger, and lipstick. And I don't feel chill if I don't have a small bottle of water in my bag.”
What do you always have with you?
“What do you think are the best qualities a bag should have?”
“A bag should be easy to match, there should be enough space for the shitload of stuff I stash in it daily, and preferably it should be a bit stylish too. A good bag gives you confidence and suits you.”
“The Faye Medium Leather Shoulder Bag from Chloé. And of course a simple, black Chanel bag. But in a large size.”
