Monday is for working with XL cappuccinos, a Sex Me Up (also in XL, always fun to order it that way) and chit-chat with the juice guys from Joe. I can't hold out for long, because the schedule is still tropical (fitting with the height of the mercury). And, I'm stopping by for tea and playing with the baby of and at friend J. I'm bringing roses. Swapping Soho for Meatpacking. And so it happened on Monday.

Lifting buttocks and tightening abs I still do under the guidance of Mr. Darcy. My now buddy and PT of Skillful Touch drills me through Madison Park. I've been with Darcy for a few months now, and I'm sure this works. My injuries (sustained from those sports apps and thus training hard without really knowing if you're doing it right) are gone, I can already see that butt lifting higher and those legs getting longer. And that is exactly the beginning of the right path. On to goal 1: the first fitting of the dress...

It has arrived! Just like our ‘Save the date’. Designed and conceived together with ‘our’ Lotte and the incredibly talented Milou Neelen. I'm super proud. The card landed on everyone's doormat and suddenly it becomes ‘really real’. We are getting married, with a lot of love from all our friends and at least 1000 flowers... Still 10 months to go.

If you're near Little Italy, stop by at Seamore’s. Even with 40 degrees, I dragged my fiancé through the city this weekend. Because I had to eat here. Hearts on the wall and fish dishes on the plate. That's Seamore’s. Everything there is delicious. I couldn't take a photo of the tuna taco (it was that good), but believe me: order that!

Another spot not to miss. On the other side of the water and just below the Brooklyn Bridge is Miss Favela. There you are briefly in Rio. The snacks, the band, the decor, and especially the strawberry caipirinhas make Brooklyn turn into Brazil, and that's fun. Especially on the weekend, a place to hang out and get drunk in tropical vibes.
