What our dear Bo is up to this week? You can read about it here!

San Francisco was here just a few days ago. Being home with the woolly child is wonderful again, but it won't last long. The Easter weekend is just around the corner. But before we go for a breeze on Long Island, we have a pretty cool party with Louis XIII. The renowned cognac house has invited us to sip on this precious drink in a gigantic house in TriBeCa. Yes, that's fun.

Road trip! We're going to hunt for Easter eggs on Long Island. Blue found it just a bit less fun, all that driving. If he could turn green, he would be that here now...

On the way, we make a stop at Oheka Castle. This is the castle on which The Great Gatsby's house is based. Blue isn't really allowed inside, but we do it anyway. Do you recognize the stairs? Only Leo is missing from this picture.

Hello Greenpoint! To be precise, we're going to North Fork, the wine region of New York. The season hasn't started yet, but despite the bare fields, we make a stop at Winery Bendell. This winery is owned by a MoMA board member who has since ensured that all labels are true works of art.

We are staying in American Beech, a boutique hotel in the middle of town and a real recommendation. The suites have just opened and they are so beautiful! Plus, Blue can come along and finds it very cozy in his new home for the weekend.

On our Easter program, we have beach walks, cups of tea in local beach houses, and nothing else at all. We discover through connections a secret beach that starts with an almost endless staircase down and ends in an oasis of peace. We walk and marvel at all these beach houses. One like this for the weekend goes on our wish list. Look how beautiful!

Happy beast, happy human.

After a few days of doing absolutely nothing, we drive back through the Hamptons. We take the ferry from Long Island to Shelter Island, ending up in the Hamptons. Blue is bummed that he has to get back in the car, but he can sit up front with his nose out the window. I don't think he's feeling too nauseous.

Arriving in the vacation village of our New Yorkers, it's still very quiet on the street. We stop by Sant Ambroeus (yes, it's here too) and I run into Ansel Elgort, his brother, and his world-famous father Arthur Elgort. They think Blue is adorable and while we're chatting, I wonder if I can ask for a photo. I mean, the The Fault in Our Stars actor and one of the most famous fashion photographers! I have to try to get a picture, right? But my partner says no. He thinks it's weird. So I hold back and politely wave to the gentlemen. Luckily, the brother posted a photo of the scene. Without us, of course, but we were here ;-).

There’s a special Uber waiting for me at the door. I feel like a little queen for a moment (you understand) and go fully in style to the event of Soap and Glory. To celebrate their new line, they are organizing a 90’s event. I realize I'm actually more in 70’s style now. Oh well, what does it matter.

Wow, wow, wow! Soap and Glory didn't hold back. The top floor of the Chelsea Towers (with a gigantic beautiful view, by the way) has been transformed into a 90’s paradise. The Backstreet Boys are blasting through the speakers, the Spice Girls are hanging on the wall, and they have created a bedroom corner that is seriously exactly my room from when I was a braces-wearing (with rainbow elastics) teenager. And then that Leo pillow. I want it!

Everything that is here, you must have had too. Provided, of course, that you come from my era.

Oh yes, for sure, girl power has never been lost. Boom! Until next week!
