onze meid in New York
What our dear Bo is up to this week? You can read about it here!
A juice at my friends from Joe. On the way, I stumble upon a sea of colored roses that of course doesn't escape my camera, and then this beautiful row of townhouses somewhere between 5th and 6th around 12th street. The tropical schedule is in effect, and that combined with the dropped mercury and the absence of the almost tropical humidity makes New York feel a bit zen this way.
And with that calm, I can finally dive into my project “The whole world needs to see how handsome our Blue is”. From the archives, I pull out photos and edit music under sweet videos of my woolly child sleeping (so deeply that he didn't even notice this cap). I actually find this much more enjoyable than my own online happenings... Blue is fine with it all, only wearing that little sweater wasn't his favorite.
Coffee at La Pecora Bianca, one of the nicer places within a radius of a few hundred meters from our house. At first, they only served cappuccinos made with goat's milk (the so-called capriccino), but now they thankfully also have regular ones. From that moment on, Pecora has a new regular customer.
We also visited another one in the ‘regular spot’ category this week: Claudette. I met a new Dutchie, a newcomer in New York who is not planning to leave the city yet. She has only been living there for a week and after we dutifully start with coffee, we let that glass be filled with wine. Look, the consequences of a tropical schedule.
Oh oh, how beautiful it was up on the roof of The Nomad Hotel. This was the place where I met Aerin Lauder for Amayzine in honor of her new perfume. It is inspired by Morocco, stands for powerful women, and will be launched in October. I will of course come back to this in detail. Love! Oh and... Don't forget to follow @blue_thedoodle J.
