A juice from my favorite juice guy in SoHo and a coat dangling from my arm. This is yet another lovely spring day.
I'm enjoying myself greatly, because on that well-known app on my phone there are worryingly many clouds with stripes and even a few degrees below zero. I can't believe it, but it seems like it's going to be winter again in a few days. Maybe even snow. So I'm extra enjoying this juice in SoHo and this winter coat that's dangling from my arm.
Hello Chrys! I need to be at Bryant Park for an appointment. But before we go there, we shelter from the rain at the Andaz Hotel. With a view of the incredibly beautiful library with huge gable ends, we sit in the restaurant. For him an omelet, for me a sandwich with smashed avocado. And it looks like this, and it tastes heavenly.
The sunset at JIMMY, the rooftop bar of The James Hotel. Many of you will know it; the roof with a mini pool and hotel has become a given and is no longer a trendy new hotspot. But that's nice sometimes. Just nice. And I mean, isn't that just beautiful?
I finally managed to score a table at Sadelle’s. That's one of those new trendy places where you have to dine by candlelight or brunch with towers of spreads for your bagel. Those bagels are a delight and those towers are definitely Instagram-worthy, but we're going for “pig in blankets” (mini sausage rolls), the Greek salad, and tuna tartare. The wine is Pinot Grigio and I decide this is my new favorite.
I'm risking my life because I want to show you my new Wedgie from Levi’s with a cool background. These jeans go just a bit into the butt for just a bit more butt. I find those kinds of things fun to try out. And to see if it works, I let my friend M take photos of my butt-in-jeans at great heights. Well, it works pretty well for the butt, right? Oh yes, and I find these flowers from Union Square Market so beautiful.
On Tuesday I'm at Bergdorf. On the top floor, next to baby dresses from Gucci, you can find home accessories. I feel like Blair among all this glitter. We find a gift and then we quickly leave again. Because most price tags here hurt my eyes.
Look, and here I am. At a great height with a view of clouds. We're going to the Netherlands and I really should try to sleep, but that's not working. My little woolly is a few meters below me, in a really stupid space, without us. I can't sleep and feel like an overprotective mother. Unjustly, because Blue is probably doing just fine down there. Then I'll collect nice pictures for Amayzine. Maybe after that I can sleep and it's faster time to hold the wagging tail in our arms again.
