What kind of porn women around the world watch

The time when women awkwardly deny that they watch porn is almost over. It is still less evident than with men, but still, porn is quite common. Not that we post it extensively on Facebook or anything, but denying it has become almost pointless. Then comes the question: what are we actually watching?

Pornhub, the largest provider of online porn, investigated this. They conducted a global study on what their female visitors (24% of all visitors, by the way) find most appealing, which search terms they use, how long they watch, and some other fun facts. Ready? Here we go.

In Russia, they love ‘anal’, in the US, ‘lesbian’ is clicked massively, in most of Africa, they go for ‘ebony’, the vast majority of Europe also chooses ‘lesbian’, just like Australia and New Zealand. In Kazakhstan, they like ‘big dick’ and in China and Mongolia, they enjoy ‘hentai’, or pornographic anime.

And then there are also some fun relative figures, did you know that in the Netherlands we watch ‘bondage’ 45% more often than the rest of the world? And in Brazil, ‘shemale’ is watched 81% more often and in Argentina 253% (!) more often, in Sweden 85% watch ‘old/young’ (which means dirty old men with very young porn stars). Quite fascinating all of it.

Finally, in the Philippines, they stay the longest: 14 minutes and 20 seconds. In Ukraine, the shortest with 6 minutes and 45 seconds, and the Netherlands hangs just below the global average (of 10 minutes and 33 seconds) with a neat 10 minutes and 27 seconds.
