What do you mean, give me your books and I'll tell you who you are, or give me your bag. Shoes, they characterize the modern woman. Because we have many and they all reveal something about the complicated web that makes you that unique-unmatchable woman. Like Anneke, she was a model, really studied in the big cities, but loves being back in the Zeeland land where her roots are. Close to Antwerp and Omoda, her employer. How convenient when you're talking about shoes...
My favorite
Look, this little boot I call it ultimately cuddly. At home, I love sheepskin, rugs, and cushions that you want to keep petting. And I really do that. So a shoe that likes to be petted, yes you can poke me for that.
Gems
Heels, yes that's a thing. I find them beautiful, but they really have to fit well. I have too many beautiful high-heeled shoes just sitting pretty in my closet. But they are just there to look nice. I just never wear them. I always reach for flat shoes – luckily that works with my height. But when I buy heels, they really have to be gems. And well, then you really have to go to Unisa Let out a little scream, eat another Zeeuwse bolus, shake your hips, the moment we have all been hoping for is finally here.
All-time favorite
My ultimate favorite shoe is still the white sneaker. When I don't know what to wear, my white friends are always ready for me. I'm completely in love with my K-Swiss, they have such a rotating tongue, just like back in the day. Not that I switch it every day, but the fact that I can, well, that makes me happy.
For outside
All these little specimens are very nice and beautiful, but sometimes a cuddly, high-heeled or white gem clashes quite a bit with something I love to do: going into nature. And preferably somewhere near the sea. Good hiking shoes may be practical but um, charming? Nah. So just give me cool ankle boots, that can totally be it now.
Don’t shoot me but I like them
Most of my favorites are mainly very wearable, read: basic colors. So don’t shoot me, but there's still a white sneaker on my list. What I like about this is that they have Velcro, super easy. But especially that childishness, I find it funny.
