I would really like us all to be a bit kinder to ourselves. And I’m talking about myself too, you know. Just a little less strict or something. A little less looking at others and a bit more in the mirror. Because your thoughts have a very big influence on your body. If you are negative, stay negative, keep thinking, you will never be able to change anything about your body and for example losing weight will never be a success.

Stop with that negative talk, whether you say it out loud to your colleague or to yourself in the mirror. Thoughts feed your body, just like food. Why do we leave a fries behind, but tear ourselves down in the mirror? Do you want to achieve success? Then be a bit kinder to yourself. Hey, and I really don’t mean that you have to do tjakka! scenes in front of the mirror or that you can never shout that your butt looks a bit rounder in those pants (big butt sounds so harsh). And by the way: butts are hip.

Hey, those legs. They can be quite nice, if I may say so myself.

Look at what you like about your body and stick some nice post-its (yes, love for pink post-its) on your mirror, window, door, fridge, wall, or wardrobe. Bet you’ll go through life happier? Because now the sun is still shining, but soon the days will get shorter, it will be gray and gloomy outside and you could use some color.

I’m still enjoying my swirly summer skirt and my bare legs… Hey, those legs. They can be quite nice, if I may say so myself.
