Such good news
wine is good for the figure

I knew it, I knew it, I knew it. But I never got the science behind me. Wine had a lot of calories (true) and because of the alcohol, the brakes would come off and you would indulge in everything that is bad for you. But finally, finally I found a scientific study (and Harvard, huh, and 13 years of research on 20,000 women) that proves I was right.
I noticed it myself during my alcohol-free month. Well, sort of an alcohol-free month (read here how that came about). Losing weight was not the goal, but a very pleasant side effect. What was the case? I was craving cream cakes, dreaming of Ben & Jerry’s tubs, and heard myself saying ‘yes please’ all the time instead of ‘no thanks, I'm okay’. They could say what they wanted, but I was doing just fine with a glass of wine. And so was my body.
Tim Ferriss writes in his book ‘The 4-hour body, an uncommon guide to rapid weight loss’ that one or two glasses of red wine in the evening help prevent diabetes, give your sex drive a boost, and prevent you from indulging in all kinds of ‘midnight munchies’.
For everyone who is now going to say; who the F is Tim Ferriss, I have another Harvard study up my sleeve. They tested 20,000 women for 13 years who drank two glasses of red wine in the evening. One of their findings was that these women had a much lower chance of obesity than the women who did not drink.
Moral? Feel free to drink. You don't have to stop because you would get fat from it. But drink in moderation (yes, yes, yes) because too much is only good for Chanel bags (like this one for example) and Jimmy Choo shoes.
