You didn't know, but Maria Kooistra was pregnant and yesterday she gave birth and today she is incredibly over the moon. No, we don't mean a baby, but jewelry and something with textiles. Oh Maria, tell us everything.

Okay, we're hanging on your lips, how was your week?

‘I received my first samples of my jewelry line today and I'm completely high from it, because it's even more beautiful than I expected. They are jewelry and textiles. It's inspired by totem animals, or Spirit Animals, and that's really delightful, because then I have the whole animal kingdom at my disposal. It really felt like I was heavily pregnant and yesterday I actually got my babies in my hands.’

And also textiles? Tell?

‘No, I'm not saying anything about that yet.’

And are you now in your room among the boxes with all the new stuff?

‘No, I'm at a friend's office and I'm working in a sort of secluded small space and that's incredibly effective for me, because I sometimes have some ADHD traits.’

What time does the weekend start and how do you announce it?

‘At 7:00 PM, then I meet my daughter Storm at The Meets and then to the movie Carol.’

And this weekend, what does it look like?

‘I'm going to sleep until I wake up. And I'm going to work a bit on my new house. I'm still looking for hanging plants (does ANYONE know where I can buy hanging plants?) and a nice cabinet. I don't have any plans for the evening yet. I've received various invitations, but I don't know which one I'll choose. I have a lovely book: ‘The American Princess’. Maybe I'll also go to bed early.’

And Sunday?

‘Then I leave very early for Antwerp. A friend couple of mine does personal and business coaching, their website is enneagramacademie.nl and they coach me. I really appreciate that, they also coached me on my business plan and I get feedback on that. They can cook wonderfully, so I expect I'll also eat well. I'm really looking forward to that.’

What do you hope will be on the table when someone cooks for you?

‘Just the fact that someone cooks for me is already wonderful. Preferably at a nicely set table.’

And what kind of music do you listen to on the weekend?

‘I'm listening to the Facebook music list of Beertje van Beers this week. I always find other people's music more enjoyable than my own music.’

What time does the alarm go off on Monday?

‘At 7 o'clock.’
