The show everyone is talking about

7 x what you need to know about Gucci

London Fashion Week is a wrap and now the fashion circus has set up its tents in Milan (heading to Milan soon? Read here what our favorite restaurants are). Milan Fashion Week is really kicking off with the Gucci show. Especially since Alessandro Michele has been at the helm, Gucci is the show you must see. For those with a job and a life outside of fashion, here are the 7 highlights of the show.

1.
Elisabeth Olsen was the big guest of honor. She was both in the front row (where you have to behave) and was backstage the whole time with Herr Alessandro. like this On every seat lay an image of a music piece by Sylvano Bussotti for pianist David Tudor.

2.
The show was named ‘Rhizomatic Scores’, a reference to the philosophical theories of Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari. Just for that reason, I love Italians so much. They create the most beautiful fairy-tale clothing and place it in a philosophical context that makes you unable to resist buying it. Outside, inside, tradition, cultural heritage. That's where credit cards do very well.

3.
If you love puff sleeves, you're in luck at Gucci. You saw them in all shapes ‘puffed up’. Blouses, jackets, even knitted pullovers had puffing effects. Just look.

4.
Core trends from the show are small hats with a small veil, glasses with bold frames in bright colors, and lots of glitter and rings that should be worn on multiple fingers.

5. Graffiti artist Trouble Andrew customized bags and certain clothing items.

6.
Alessandro Michele describes his show as ‘The Renaissance walking into Studio 54.’.
