WHY SIMONE's TOILET VISIT LASTED LONGER THAN USUAL
This morning, 6:30 AM, the familiar sound of the alarm clock.
Normally, I get out of bed within two minutes. Jumping out, because the gym is waiting. But really. This is how I truly prefer to start my day. Not with Netflix and warm croissants. Do you hate me now?
This morning was different than usual. It just didn't work. Muscle pain. Muscle pain like I've never felt before.
My colleagues then laughed at me, because my toilet visit also took a bit longer than usual. And that's not because I...
And the worst part of it all... I was to blame myself. On Sunday, I discovered my brand new gym. New equipment, FOUR squat racks next to each other (I can hear my colleague thinking: wtf is a squat rack?). Goodness, a paradise. So I went all out and exhausted myself. Because yes, that first impression sticks, right? My own fault then.
Because what did I forget? To start my daily workout with Mr. Foam Rolling. Mr. who? Foam Rolling, totally 2016, the band-aid for your workout wounds.
