About Gigi Hadid's armpit hair

One of the many things I look forward to in December is the advent calendar from Love Magazine. No shuffling with cardboard flaps that roll out some mediocre chocolate of inferior quality, no, every day a funky video with a top model or A-lister. Doutzen Kroes, Bella Hadid, Romee Strijd, Sara Sampaio, Rita Ora and thus also our Gigi.

So much for the link with Christmas, because in keeping with the theme #staystrong, we see the model girls mainly ‘with without clothes’. I had to smile at Rita Ora's reaction after her video (take a look at Rita Ora's advent video) in which she had so much fun during the shoot and said it reminded her so much of the ‘festive season’. Of course. We are all sitting around the tree licking our gloves and tapping our nipples.

Some of the videos are preceded by a warning from YouTube. Then you know what time it is. But fine of course, you don't expect a wooden plank with self-knitted brownies from Love Magazine. Bring in the sex, nothing wrong with that (as long as all parties are 18 plus and are healthy about it), and the videos are beautifully made in every way.

Today it was Gigi's turn, so I watched immediately. Beautiful, strong, edgy and what a body. But did I see that right? No way? That couldn't be? Look again. Paused it. Took a photo. Shared it with the team. Guys, Gigi has armpit hair. Not long strands, but still. Sturdy stubble. Is it really going to be a hit? Those hairs in places we didn't want them? I can't handle that. Maybe I should just send Gigi a Philips Lumea device that removes hair semi-permanently in a snap. Painless too. Anything to stop this trend. Seems like the perfect Christmas gift.
