BEHOLD: THE ROLLS-ROYCE OF SUITCASES
Suitcases are kind of ‘really my thing’. If you want to know all the ins & outs, I suggest you read this post , and otherwise I will mainly talk about my latest acquisition, named Delsje. She was born in the factory of the cool design luggage brand Delsey and had the wish to be raised by me. I get it, I treat my suitcases like my children.
I must say that children conceived in the factory of Delsey (the second largest suitcase brand in the world) are given extra preference, isn't that unfair? But what do you expect: suitcases with fingerprints instead of combination locks? Yep, they have that. The lightest suitcase ever at one and a half kilos? Also. An app that ensures you never lose your luggage again? Goodness, they have that too. In short: this Delsje is the Rolls-Royce of suitcases and a crown on my slightly absurd suitcase fetish.
‘If you’re wondering whether I always have a giraffe in the living room: the answer is no.’
Aside from that, I think Delsje and I are ein sehr gute match, because we have a lot to offer each other. As a travel enthusiast I take her on cool trips several times a year and in return, she provides shelter for my 371 pairs of shoes that need to cross the border, a very pleasant deal. Since I have now made Delsje look nice with this tropical picture, I’m afraid I’ll have to go to Africa soon. If you’re wondering whether I always have a giraffe in the living room: the answer is no. But my mother does. The best thing actually comes from South Africa too. That long neck wrapped in three hundred rolls of bubble wrap was quite a standout on the baggage carousel, I can tell you. Anyway, Dels, I’ll take you on a trip soon. Within the next two weeks. I promise. The destination is still a surprise, okay?
P.S.: okay okay, small hint: it’s not something with giraffes, but it is with snow and that fits perfectly with your outfit, Dels, so no clothing stress, it will be just fine. You got this.
