As soon as I have something in my mind, the chances are high that I will do everything I can to turn it into actions as quickly as possible. Our house was furnished with furniture and decorations even before there was a lick of paint on the wall, while everyone else wants to live in the house calmly before purchasing their entire interior. Or if I have set my sights on that one designer bag, I secretly take that money that has been neatly set aside for taxes instead of saving a little each month, so that you can fully look forward to that one moment when you have scraped together that last cent and can then proudly confiscate the bag. But I don't have that patience. Never had. So when I saw our makeup artist every day during the filming of ‘Bella Donna's’ walking around with her beautiful earrings (three pieces per ear, mind you), I had to get those extra holes pierced as soon as possible after filming. And not neatly one at a time: three extra holes at once, please! I sat in the chair somewhat anxiously, and five minutes later my ears felt like Swiss cheese. But man oh man, am I happy with them. Now comes the next challenge: I have to wait no less than 8 weeks (!) before I can put in new earrings. You understand: a true torture...

The last days in Marrakech were truly a party. 24 degrees warm, visited delicious restaurants, and scoured all the souks until we had seen them all twice. So I thought we had earned a high tea. La Mamounia is known for its delicious high tea, so we headed to this luxury hotel in the heart of Marrakech. When we arrived, we couldn't believe our eyes: it was like entering a palace! In the inner gardens, you only hear birds chirping, the orange trees smile at you, and there is such a serene calm that Jon and I sat in silence enjoying it for minutes. Once we arrived at the ‘Tea House’ in the middle of the courtyard, I let out a squeal of joy: countless homemade macarons and small pastries were waiting for us, along with a whole menu of special teas! If you're not a high tea fan, you can also dine at one of the three top restaurants or just have a drink on the beautiful terrace. But promise me that you ABSOLUTELY visit this resort during your trip to Marrakech.

For years, I have been a fan of all Eat Natural products: the gluten-free granola and delicious bars I even took with me to Italy for our wedding. Yesterday, a huge box suddenly appeared at my door, filled to the brim with all different Eat Natural items. As if my prayers had been answered, because for the past few weeks, I've been suffering from ridiculous hunger attacks and have been forced to always have a snack in my bag. These mini-bars are of course perfect for that. One thing I saw for the first time was the gluten-free noodles from King Soba, with exciting flavors like Sweet Potato & Buckwheat. Since my husband is already fed up with zucchini noodles, these new ‘spaghettis’ come just in time. Is there secretly a listening device hidden somewhere in my house?

We haven't been back for a week or we can already prepare for the next trips. First up is the Film Festival in Berlin this coming weekend, but after that comes the biggest trip of the year: FINALLY we are going on our honeymoon! Now, a week in Marrakech is of course also a small honeymoon, but traveling through America for a month was high on our honeymoon wish list. Especially now that I am still reasonably mobile, we booked immediately when Jon heard that he had to shoot for a few days in LA during that period for the film ‘Bella Donna's’. Unfortunately, no scenes where my character appears, but of course, I will take a look at the filming and then we will travel together. So far, we have found a few beautiful national parks that we want to visit, but the route is still open. So all tips are more than welcome!
And with such a trip on the horizon, I obviously need to score some new maternity summer items ASAP. Not a single pair of pants fits anymore, and when I try to squeeze into them, Jon angrily tells me not to constrict our little one. So the search for beautiful maternity items begins, which is quite a task. For my outspoken taste, many collections are somewhat boring, and I don't get very excited about all the treggings and decent dresses. But luckily, my favorite brands have many items in their collection that are oversized or have an elastic band. This outfit from 10 Days made my heart skip a beat: the pants fit perfectly under my belly and stretch well. I scored my first outfit! Now to fill the rest of my suitcase with fashionable mommy-to-be items...
