Our first vacation as a little family is already over and I must say: it went quite well for us. Otis behaved exemplary during the flight and despite the heat, he loved it in that Mediterranean climate. Every year it is a fixed tradition to make a lovely jet-set visit to the beautiful Fairmont Hotel in Monaco, so why would we skip that this time? With a bit of clammy hands, I walked into the lobby with the whole family and the accompanying baby gear: as long as he behaves just as exemplary as the past few days... After a lovely relaxing massage, I found my family again at Nikki Beach, where the little one was playing happily on a bed. And then I knew for sure: this is one you can take anywhere without worries.

You just watch: after a few days of searching for the sun, that sun suddenly decides to brighten my home front. Fortunately, we could still enjoy that lovely summer weather over the weekend. On our beautiful rooftop terrace, of course. My husband worked up a sweat before the vacation to make the roof ‘greener’. For weeks, I have had beautiful flower pots from Elho in mind: they look so tasteful and chic that you can also place them indoors. But he had to adjust the plants and made a whole quest to find plants and flowers that can survive in our climate all year round. The result: a beautiful green roof with boxwood, fig trees, lavender, and an olive grove. Bring on that ‘Indian Summer’!

After such a pregnancy, that whole body is no longer what it used to be. I know: I really shouldn't complain, but those last kilos stubbornly remain. Now I must confess that I don't eat any less cake and haven't touched the gym for a second, so I will first have to take action myself. And that face just kept looking tired (even though I really do get about six hours of sleep a night). Long live mothers who always have the best tip for everything. Unfortunately, this tip wasn't exactly free, but oh so worth it: the Swiss Ice Crystal line from La Prairie, which hydrates, renews, and firms your skin. After a week, I honestly saw results: my skin felt super hydrated and the fine lines on my forehead were already a bit less visible. Well, and now I am just as addicted to these lovely creams as my mother... But if I can look like this at sixty after three pregnancies, then I can count my blessings.

Last weekend it was already a year ago that we were celebrating our wedding with our loved ones in Italy. With a lot of nostalgia, I looked back at all the videos and photos: I would love to do this again every year. To relive that feeling a bit, we of course had to enjoy a good bottle of bubbles to celebrate this special milestone. And as if our prayers were answered, we received an invite to sail on a beautiful Riva boat with a glass of Veuve Clicquot on the Amstel. So on Sunday, we were toasting as a royal couple on a private Riva with a bottle of bubbles to our first year of life as husband and wife, and then came home a bit tipsy, where Otis was waiting for us with a huge smile. Stop the time, sigh...

Just one more week and then Bella Donna’s will be in theaters. Ooh, I am so curious about all the reactions! I really hope everyone is as enthusiastic as we are and that they walk out of the theater with a big smile. I am especially incredibly proud of Jon, who wrote and directed the script. In a week, the film will already be showing at the Ladies' Night and we will be visiting a number of cities to surprise a few full cinema halls. Keep an eye on my Instagram if you want to see which cinemas we will be visiting.
