I don't understand you

I practically live in all my Levi’s jeans. I wear nothing else. It’s good for the tush, in my opinion fits every season, they often have cool collaborations, but now they’ve done something I totally don’t understand – sorry, Levi’s team. What’s up with your collaboration with Vetements? Well, I kind of get it because Vetements still creates a lot of buzz in the fashion industry, but jeans and denim skirts over 1,000 euros? Are you kidding me? And jeans with a zipper on your butt so you can show off your backside? Do people seriously wear this?

Look, it could also be that this is exactly what they want: commotion around their collection. Something with ‘even bad press is good press’, but come on, you could spend these amounts on something else, right? Fashion blogger Shea Marie, who really loves expensive items, put it perfectly on her Instagram: ‘I completely understand the value in a beautiful handcrafted gown, or a bag made from fine leather… But if you’re down to spend 1K on a denim skirt please donate your money to some worthy cause you’re being scammed.’ So there.
