Actually, it was Beyoncé who was supposed to be the big showstopper at Coachella last weekend. But yeah, pregnant with twins so absolutely not wise. And who do you call when Queen B has to skip the festival for a year? Exactly; you call Gaga (oh la la). The lady had some pretty big shoes to fill, but no worries, because the best way to tackle that is to just drop a new song during your performance. A very good one.

So that’s what Lady did with her latest song ‘The Cure’. The song is mega catchy and am I crazy to say that I feel some Justin Bieber vibes? Anyways, not only Lady Gaga saw Coachella as the ultimate place to release new music, a number of other artists had exactly the same thoughts. I mention Lorde who came up with ‘Homemade Dynamite’ and ‘Sober’ and also Lana Del Rey got inspired during her weekend in Indio. Well, inspired... On Instagram she indicates that she wrote the song after a weekend of dancing while tensions between America and North Korea are rising. The struggle of enjoying life while there is also a lot of misery going on in the world.
