Dirty dancing 2.0

I don't think my movie and series radar is functioning optimally at the moment, because apparently I've missed BIG news. Were you already aware of the fact that there is a remake coming of the iconic film Dirty Dancing? This news completely passed me by. But uh, yes, it's coming. Not in theaters, no, in America they now have something with live broadcasts of movies. A few months ago, that was the case with the film Grease, which was then broadcast ‘live’ on TV with among others Vanessa Hudgens as Rizzo and Julianne Hough as Sandy.

 
Baby and Johnny, played by actress Jennifer Grey and the late actor Patrick Swayze in the original film, are now played by Abigail Breslin and Colt Prattes, and the actors have already posted some sneak peeks on their Instagram accounts. On May 24, the film will be broadcast on the American channel ABC, and unfortunately, it is not yet on TV in the Netherlands, but, tip from me: if you're such a huge mega fan of Dirty Dancing, then on the 25th you should go to the website of Watch Series and you can stream it beautifully. I'll join you.
