Who (doesn't) travel is crazy
My new resolution? Read more. For years I was a voracious reader in the square and somewhere along the way it went wrong. My second resolution? Make more time for my grandma. Because she is the funniest ever (here proof), so last week I went with grandma to the bookstore. Two birds with one stone. The gem I took home? The new book by psychologist and passionate traveler Ap Dijksterhuis. It's actually a great ode to my favorite hobby: getting passport stamps. It's the way to keep our brains flexible, it provides inspiration, undermines prejudices, makes us happier, and extends our lives. At least that's what Ap thinks, and I can feel Ap, I must say. At a rapid pace (and with humor, I must give him that) Ap takes you from India to the US, from Ecuador to Zanzibar, from Burma to Iran, and from Belarus to Bhutan. A must-read for anyone who loves to travel, if you ask me. So, if you still have room in that suitcase…
