Bridal Fashion Week kicks off its catwalk this week, which means that the international fashion weeks are officially done. The fashion girls, designers, and especially the models can finally put their feet up, relax, and unwind to the max. And that is exactly what we want to pay a little extra attention to today.

 
Today is being De Gezondheidsbelofte van het Model launched at the College Hotel in Amsterdam. This online platform and reporting point focuses on health and a pleasant working environment for models in the fashion industry. On the website, models, aspiring models, fashion professionals, and interested parties can find inspiration and learn from the personal stories of fashion professionals. The platform provides access to experts in the fields of sports, nutrition, the fashion industry, personal development, and business. There is also a reporting point for misconduct.
 

All in all, a wonderful initiative where Amayzine, together with Vogue Netherlands, Harper’s Bazaar, Max Models, Micha Models, and many others, is one of the proud signatories of The Model’s Health Pledge. World Girls' Day is, as far as we are concerned, extended for another day in model land. Or better yet: the whole year!
