Double Trouble

Hey, there we have Donald and Melania Trump in the snapshot. Or did they? Or did they? A photo of Melania Trump is causing a stir on social media. And we here for this: last weekend, Melania Trump stood with her oversized designer glasses shoved on the nose next to the US president. But wait a minute, is this really Melania? A question shared by actress Andrea Wagner Barton with her facebook friends is: ‘Will the real Melania please stand up?’ In fact, according to Andrea, a stand-in Melania is being used.

Andrea's post was shared more than a million times on Facebook within a day, causing the US media to get involved as well. Newspapers and TV channels everywhere and nowhere shove pieces of evidence under the noses of doubters, to emphasise that this is indeed our one and only Melania Trump. For instance, photos from the same day were allegedly taken showing Melania without glasses, but which actually appear to be her. Still, ‘Melania Double’ and ‘Melania Fake’ have been googled en masse in recent days. Double or not, let's hope at least Donald is not planning to duplicate himself. After all, one copy is all we need more than enough Trump.
