IMMERSE YOURSELF IN LA LA LAND

Oscar weekend, baby. I'm ready for it. Together with Lil and our Annick, we have Oscar duty tomorrow in perhaps one of the most beautiful hotel rooms in Amsterdam at our friends from the W. The big favorite that will probably go home with a lot of golden statuettes this year is La La Land. If you still missed it, read this carefully to understand why you really must see it. And if you happen to be heading to La La Land soon and want to experience the film a bit yourself, Booking.com has made a selection of the most beautiful hotels where you can immerse yourself in the biggest film hit of the year. Unfortunately, Ryan Gosling is not included.

The Redbury @ Hollywood and Vine

Bring out your inner movie star at The Redbury @ Hollywood and Vine. Boutique suites, cocktails, and great music, all within walking distance of the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Hotel Amarano Burbank

You can't experience LA like a real celeb if you don't drop by the most famous studio: Warner Bros Studios. Make sure you get the ‘deluxe tour’; then La La Land comes to life, because these are the studios where it was all filmed. After your tour, you will stay overnight at Hotel Amarano Burbank and can relax in a hot tub with a cocktail in hand.

Andaz West Hollywood

Ryan Gosling plays a struggling jazz musician in the film, so you can't really miss out on a trip to one of the many jazz bars near Sunset Strip. Afterwards, retreat to the über-cool Andaz West Hollywood for a dip in the glamorous rooftop pool.

Mama Shelter

Have you seen the film? Then you understand that Griffith Park cannot be missing from your must-see list. And after your visit, stop by Mama Shelter, where they have a rooftop terrace with perhaps the most beautiful view of the Hollywood Hills.

LEVEL Furnished Living Suites, Grand Central Market

Street food in California remains very popular, so a trip to The Grand Central Market (which has been around for over 100 years) is the ideal place for a snack – just like Emma and Ryan do in the film. After the food market, head to LEVEL, a hotel where many celebs can also be spotted and thus absolutely a cherry on top of your LA trip.

If you're heading to Los Angeles, I have here a few more things for you that May has learned from the capital of the film industry.
