 7 Things I Wonder About

I still feel happy when I think of Meghan and Harry and the new breeze blowing through the British royal family. What a delight. I think Lady Di looks down proudly from her little cloud, because she could appreciate a bit of glamour and an edge (Meghan has been married before, something that was much less easily accepted in the British royal family a century ago). I can watch the engagement interview over and over and then wonder about all this.

1. Those Nails

Is it true that once you become a princess, you can no longer wear nail polish? Do you remember Queen Máxima during the wedding? And those beautiful, white nails? Kate Middleton had those too, and now Meghan joins the ranks of white and pure. Is it because the ring looks better that way? Or are princesses not allowed to indulge in the latest treats from OPI? That would be quite a sacrifice.

2. The Dress

Meghan's arms are perfect, but I still think she was disappointed when she watched the interview back. The camera angle was such that you couldn't see the draping at the side of her midriff properly, making it look like she had a little bulge. Which of course wasn't the case. But it looked a bit like that. And she must have been upset about it.

3. Pippa

Would Meghan also not invite Pippa Middleton to her royal wedding? Because Pippa put her on the spot for not yet being Harry's official fiancée? Or is Meghan beyond that kind of revenge...

4. The Queen's Corgis

They would have jumped on her immediately. Would they have sniffed around her royal private parts too? Just long enough until it became awkward? Probably.

5. That Little Nose

How nice that she didn't have anything done to it during her teenage years in LA. That little nose is too cute.

6. Calligraphy

Is she going to pick that up again? Acting is no longer allowed, but calligraphy...

7. Did This Really Happen?

Did she really have to undergo a fertility test? Does that really exist? And what would Harry have done if she had been infertile? He must have been quite upset about that, right?
