this does calendula
for your skin
With the Eiffel Tower still on my retina, I am at the moment when you are sitting with your coffee in hand, catching crocodiles in Gambia again. I just had enough time between the two trips to take the croissants off HIIT'ing, stock up on Deet and switch my suitcase contents from spring to summer wardrobe. Time for thirty-four degrees, African sun, fresh lychees for breakfast, and swimming laps as a morning workout. Guys, I consider myself a very lucky person.
But that first sun, and also that first African sun, is a dirty bitch for our white skin. Adeline already told you that applying sunscreen is extremely important to protect us from the sun. No less than one in five Dutch people gets skin cancer. So I’m going to freak out a lot with my mole-covered skin. But besides applying a good factor, it’s just as important to calm your skin in the evening. Let me now be pleasantly surprised with an ultra-fine new jar from my friends at Kiehl’s. In my little house, I have now created a real Kiehl’s temple, with the finest jars and bottles for my face. So there’s now a nice little yellow specimen for the summer months.
The new Calendula & Aloe Soothing Hydration Masque with hand-picked calendula petals gives your skin a fresh boost after a day in the sun. And that in just five minutes. While you brush your teeth and get ready for the night, your sun-kissed skin is revitalized. After Kiehl’s first processed calendula in the Herbal Extract Toner in 1960, the product grew into a favorite. The pharmacists at Kiehl’s therefore decided to once again utilize the soothing and calming properties of this healing plant. The gel mask contains not only calendula but also aloe vera. This provides a refreshing, cooling, and hydrating effect.
The mask is formulated for all skin types; also for sensitive skin and can be used up to three times a week. The mask is not only the perfect after-sun mask but also perfect to use after a long flight, a busy day at work, or a sleepless night.
I’m going to spot some monkeys and collect some freckles on my nose. Will you make sure that spring is back when I return on Thursday? Thanksieeee!
