ISA WIEGERS

First of all: I have a weakness for women who wear suits. As in: matchy top and pants. Maybe because it contrasts so much with my own clothing style (I wouldn't be able to rock a velvet ensemble like this at all), but mainly because I think it looks incredibly cool on a number of women.

The woman in question today is Isa. Originally from the Gooi, but now living in the Pijp. In her daily life, she shoots away with her camera as a photographer, but secretly this beauty also does quite well in front of the camera. Which explains her job as a hostess at Make My Event as long as it’s not a 9 to 5 job, this globetrotter reacts a bit allergically to that. Oh, and there should also be time left for her passions, yoga and traveling, if possible. All the ingredients are present for an adventurous entrepreneur, I think.

Isa doesn't really have favorite brands. She buys what she likes. Whether it's a floral kimono jacket from Zara that she falls completely in love with, or a bag from Isabel Marant for which she has to fatten up her piggy bank a bit longer. What is she wearing today? A velvet pants plus top from the brand Trois de Boulogne. Yes, I honestly didn't know that either, but here comes the monkey out of the sleeve: “I got this from my mother. She wore this suit when she was my age,” says Isa. Okay, this suit just got a gigantic upgrade on the coolness meter. How nice that this can just be worn again? The fluffy mules come from Zara today, the belt has traveled all the way from Nepal and the jewelry are imports from Bali. I say: go for it, Isa.
