My love for Spotify
Including DJ Elkeholic playlist
There are a number of other career options that I have assigned myself in case Amayzine and I go through a break-up (not going to happen, don’t worry). 1: Official taste tester. As in: eating and tasting everything in the name of food – think new Tony's Chocolonely-flavors and such. Just eating as a full-time job. Hallelujah: sweet dreams are made of this. And 2: deejay. DJ Elkeholic or something like that. Has a nice ring to it. But only in our editorial office on Pilotenstraat…
Long ago, Liesbeth wrote about the brilliance that is: Discover Weekly on Spotify. Standard starts my Monday morning with this. I work best productively with music, and with Discover Weekly you come across all kinds of artists you probably have never heard of. I love it.
Okay, so it’s Sunday, a.k.a. rest day. What we want today is chill music and I just happen to have made the perfect playlist with a few finds from Discover Weekly and a couple of songs that have been on repeat for me the past few weeks. Here they come:
- Hurricane Love – L.A WOMEN
- Breathing – Oscar and the Wolf (FAVORITE. On repeat daily)
- 10,000 – Elliot Root
- Fat Lady – Sure Sure
- Real Love Baby – Father John Misty
- Got A Feelin’ – Rookie Season
- What You Do – James Gillespie
- Fair-Weather Friend – Bruno Major
- Fragments – Jack Johnson
- Want You Back – HAIM
- Looking Too Closely – Fink
- Home – Lucy Lowe
Nice Sunday Funday!
