Our findings for the holidays
Where I'm definitely going to spend my money
Usually, I leave the shopping entirely to our shopping editor Lilian of course (see here her best finds for Sinterklaas gifts), but I couldn't help but take over for a day. I have the peculiar talent of wasting money on the most ridiculous things around Christmas, and since Christmas is approaching, I've decided to share everything I don't need but will buy with you.
Christmas garland
Look, this is great if you have an annoying in-laws. At least they know what time they need to leave. In my case for friends and family, but it's still a winner.
€8.50 via 30Watt
Christmas card
Jon Snow through the mailbox. Yes, please.
€4.50 via Etsy
Christmas sweater
And as a Netflix enthusiast and insane Stranger Things fan, I absolutely need to have this sweater in my life.
€22 via Etsy
Christmas tree decoration
If your last name is Wijnands, I just feel it's an obligation to hang wine glasses in my tree.
€10.50 via Urban Outfitters
Wrapping paper
With Drake on it. Kanye or Beyoncé is also fine, if you want.
€5.30 via Etsy
Christmas gift bags
If you don't have much money to spend on gifts, I have the perfect bag you can use so that the person receiving a gift doesn't have too high expectations.
€4.50 via 30Watt
Christmas trash bags
Threw a party? Then all the mess should go in the most fitting trash bags, right?
€11.30 via Totally Funky
Dinosaur snow globe
I can't think of a good reason why I need this, but that's exactly why I need to have it. There's a lot of logic in my shopping behavior, don't you think?
€12.99 via Sissy-Boy
Has anyone come across any other crazy and silly gadgets for Christmas? Send them my way, please.
