When the sun shines so warmly that you can sip festive drinks outside with your dearest friend, toasting to yet another amazing weekend while staring at this view, then Thursday feels like Friday. We are laughing and chatting on the terrace. We are trying our best to share this joy through social media, but we can't take ourselves seriously and it turns into a social media chaos. But are we incredibly happy? Yes, definitely. By the way, this place is not to be missed: the rooftop of The William Vale in Brooklyn.
Another beautiful place high in a tower with a view of the best city in the world: 1 Hotel. It's a bit chilly to take a dip in this pool now, but perfect for cozy cocktails while you snuggle under a blanket against your love, staring at the lights.
Iris Dorine, just her name I find beautiful. Just as beautiful as her photography. I feel more than honored that we are working together this week. The alarm goes off at a quarter past five because we are going for photos at the Brooklyn Bridge at sunrise. In between, we drink cappuccinos and after this morning, I can say that I have met another very special and beautiful person.
There she is. The woman who made me dream a long time ago of someday living in New York. Just as sparkling as I remember her from all those episodes. And then that voice, that voice among thousands. My heart skips a beat and my phone is working overtime. I think I have about a hundred million minutes of footage of this woman, and meanwhile, I feel slightly like a stalker. But that's okay, I think. I mean, this is Sarah Jessica Parker. Together with Irina Shayk and Dakota Johnson, we are at the same Intimissimi party on 5th Avenue. And my mission to stand next to her someday is checked off. We can move back to the Netherlands (just kidding).
