The eyeshadow that best matches your eye color

Eyeshadow is totally hot & happening again. It has flown from the eighties to the catwalk of our favorite designers. I see you Nina Ricci, Victoria Beckham, and Armani. And how much do we love this, because what is more fun than experimenting with a pop of color on our beautiful eyes? But before you go stock up on a whole bunch of new eyeshadow palettes, it's good to know which color makes your eyes shine the most. I've looked that up for you. My new eyeshadow is already in the shopping cart. Is yours going to be too?

Green eyes

Purple shades make green eyes shine. This is due to the red undertones that the color purple has. Red is opposite green on the color wheel, which makes purple bring out that green color of your eyes beautifully. Perfect to try during a night out. Do you dare?

Blue eyes

As a true Dutch person with blue eyes, you can pull out the eyeshadow from last Kingsday again. Because your go-to pop of color for this season is orange. If you find that a bit too much for a normal day at the office, don’t worry. Brown and gold shades also work very well for you.

Brown eyes

Blue and green colors make those brown Bambi eyes of yours sparkle the most. But most other colors also match very well with brown eyes. So don’t let that stop you from using them. Mix and match a number of colors and search for your own favorite.

Gray eyes

Are not very common, but are oh so beautiful. They are the hardest to combine with a bright color, so let those be for now. The colors du moment for your little eyes are soot or light blue. Keep it simple and rock it.
