The most enviable jobs that allow you to travel the whole world

Are you a very serious case of wanderlust but have no idea how you're going to manage to gather enough money to travel? Yes, then looking for work abroad is definitely an option. Not always easy, but fortunately there are more choices than before. Back then, it was popular to work as a flight attendant, pilot, or consultant, or you had a position at an embassy (my father had that, which is why I grew up abroad), but nowadays it can be even more creative.

Professional mermaid

Yes, it really exists. This can simply be on your CV. Okay, you do need to be able to hold your breath underwater. The American cruise vacation company called Dream Cruises has a themed cruise called ‘Mermaid Cruise’. So you can work as a professional mermaid somewhere on the cruise ship or in one of their resorts. So traveling the world with a mermaid tail, doesn’t sound too shabby.

Travel manager

Doesn't sound as exotic as the above job, but if you want to travel, this is also a top option. The company Contiki specializes in organizing group trips for 18 to 35-year-olds, and with such a trip, you often visit about seven to ten different countries, and you can participate as a travel manager. You do need to go through a long training process to learn a lot about all the places you will go to and also about how to deal with last-minute situations or unexpected situations, but hey, it’s about seeing some of the world. And that’s what you wanted, right?

Hotel mystery guest

Ah, my favorite on this list. Testing hotels for a living, yes. I’m not entirely sure if they are currently doing this, but once The Leading Hotels Of The World (which includes all Starwood, Four Seasons, Sheraton, and InterContinental Hotels, so let’s say: top for all the chic cats among us) were looking for ‘secret hotel inspectors’ to try out hotels. Two nights, meals included... Okay, the transport costs are not included here, but a free stay saves you a lot of costs when you are traveling.

Stock footage videographer

Maybe you need to arrange in advance that you take a photography and video course, and then you can start collecting stock footage for tourism and media companies and travel brands. You should think of everything you always see on sites like Shutterstock and VideoHive. Traveling and taking photos sounds delightful to me.

Professional house sitter

Are you an animal lover and do you love to travel? Oh, then I would like to introduce you to your dream job: pet sitter, or house sitter. Just sitting in someone else's house and taking care of the pets while they are away. Oh yes, and getting paid for it too. I WANT THIS. It can surely be combined well with my job at Amayzine, where can I apply?
