The nicest lunches
It wasn't December 5th, but it did feel a bit like it. Our friends from Philips first gave away five amazing Lumeas to a few lucky Amayzine readers and then invited us for lunch. To chat, braid hair (head hair that is, because the rest of our bodies is beautifully smooth thanks to the Lumea) and get friendship tattoos.
Okay, I might be exaggerating. But the part about the Lumea and the lunch is true. The latter had to be happy and healthy. When legs, armpits, and bikini lines are perfectly hairless, it's such a shame to let the rest of the body go. So we headed to Hotel Arena, you know, that place in Amsterdam where people my age have had a wild night because the parties there are famous. By now, it's hipper, greener, ultra-instagrammable, and has a great chef who loves to cook organic.
The sun was shining, the room was beautifully decorated by our Theo (on his second-to-last day with us, mind you) and his lovely ‘successor’ Annabelle. The best part about lunches like this is meeting our readers. Because you are always fun. This time we had a Dutch teacher, a law student, and an incredibly nice woman who had worked at a media agency and was now taking it a bit easier because her little daughter needed extra medical care.
Love, children, the Holleeder case, the Lumea app (which reminds you when it's time to flash some hair to sleep again), how nice it is to apply extra oil to your legs after the treatment, traveling through India, and parties in Bollywood; everything came up and it was way too short. I suggest we meet again after the summer. Let's see how smooth the legs have remained and then maybe get that friendship tattoo.
