This avocado makes life more fun
Exciting news for the avocado fans among us (nice colleagues, are you reading along?): from now on no more dirty hands or ugly cuts. The fruit full of healthy fats now also exists without a pit. And that's not all: the so-called cocktail avocados, which are available at the British department store chain Marks & Spencer, also have an edible skin.
The department store is the first to offer the pitless avocado to our neighbors. The fruit is slightly smaller and narrower than the normal variety, but just as tasty. They grow without a pit and are only between five and eight centimeters long, making them look more like cucumbers than avocados. Tasty snacking without greasy fingers, that's what you want, right? One small downside: you do have to take a plane for it.
The pitless avocados are grown in Spain and are only available this month.
