If I could wait for Doutzen by the elevator. Winnie Harlow who fabulously walked the red carpet. All of famous Netherlands was present and going wild (our Carolien even secretly went down every floor under the pretense of a bathroom visit). The most fun colleagues from the industry joined in. Where was I, you want to know? At the grand opening of Hudson’s Bay. It was a feast, it was a spectacle, you had to be here. And Amayzine was there, no worries.
It all started with a mouthwatering dinner at great heights at Nacarat (just go there to eat for the best view of Amsterdam). Here, Ron Blaauw and his team serve you 1001 flavors and I actually think there were more. By the way, I give you little chance of getting a spot, because I just reserved a table for every weekend for the coming year and I think all 100 guests did the same. I actually never wanted to leave, but then I heard ‘Doutzen’ and ‘you have to be there’ in one sentence and I dashed downstairs. There, Doutzen and Winnie elegantly pressed the red button to officially open the department store. I went inside, gasped for air, gathered my treasures, and lived happily ever after. But this weekend I’m just going again. I just received a message that someone wanted to live in the interior department and I just missed that.
