SO YOU CAN STILL WEAR YOUR PARTY PIECES

So also just at work

We love transparent, glitter, and metallic, but in moderation. Because where at the end of 2016 (sounds like a long time ago, but it really isn't) we went for silver, gold, and a lot of sparkle, most of us have already stuffed all that coziness far back in the closet by January. So it’s really not necessary, dear people. And because we don’t lead a Beyoncé or Kim-like life but still want to wear our cool items more often, I’ve gathered a few top suggestions for you. Who said party items can only be worn during parties? With these tips, you can wear them appropriately. Even to work.

Transparent

For a night out, wear a nice lace bra underneath. A transparent top is of course very nice, but how do you wear it to work? Well, with a blouse underneath for example or opt for a nice suit where just that extra bit of skin peeks out. So flirt with transparent items and swap your basics for a delicate piece. It gives that business look a sexy twist without showing too much skin.

Glitters and metallic

With these kinds of nice materials, it’s really just a matter of downgrading. Where you choose high heels and cool accessories during a party and totally go wild in the world of mixing and matching, let’s put that aside for now. Go for an oversized sweater, a chunky knit, or denim to give your look a bit of an edgier twist.

Tights

Do you find glitter or fishnet tights just a bit too much for a day at the office? Then wear them under trousers or jeans. Roll up those ankle-length pants and your socks will add a super cute detail to your office look.

Split it

Split your party suit. Do you find your suit a bit too much for a day at the office? Wear your trousers and jacket separately. Combine it with a good basic and your look will be on point.

Party dress

Wear a sweater or pullover over your dress and you’ll transform your party dress into an office skirt. And no more issues with skirts riding up for you either. I mean: a perfect fit is also quite important, right?
