Tropics in a bottle

My neighbors had something new. If I wanted to come peek. And smell. And feel. And sniff. No, it wasn't about a hamster (that station had already passed), but about the French pharmacy brand Hei Poa.

Every time Angelien, that's my neighbor's name, went to Paris, she loaded the suitcase full of Hei Poa. For that friend, that aunt, that neighbor across the street, and especially for herself. A gap in the market because Hei Poa is not available in the Netherlands. My neighbors, quite entrepreneurial types, threw themselves into the adventure and before they knew it, there was a website and an online store and we had a stack of boxes with bottles here at the editorial office. And now we are also convinced. Why?

1. The layout

It looks so deliciously campy retro that it gives your Instagram account an immediate boost.

2. It's made of glass

Where do you still find that? Care products in a glass bottle. Hei Poa wanted to hold on to that, it's their USP.

3. It comes from Tahiti

And from Paris because a Parisian couple brought it back from Tahiti to the city of light.

4. It smells divine

So summery and tropical.

5. It cares like crazy

One of our team members suffers from psoriasis and she is a big user of Hei Poa because it's the only thing that helps. It all looks a lot calmer when she applies it. Also ideal for a reptilian skin as a result of being in the sun a bit too long.
