Why you should see 50 Shades Darker

After two years of waiting, we could finally attend the long-awaited sequel to Fifty Shades of Grey. On Tuesday evening, Fifty Shades Darker premiered internationally, and guess who was at the front of the line? Elke and I: #teamsingle. On the red carpet of the Tuschinski, glamorous Amsterdam gathered to masked catch a new dose of naughtiness. While we were slightly disappointed by the mediocre sex scenes in the first part, Elke and I hoped we would be blown away this time by Mr. Grey's practices. And it worked.

I had been looking forward to wilder sex scenes, red ears, trembling knees, and a lot of sensual nudity. And there was certainly that, but there was also more than that. It was sensual, but above all very romantic, so just a bit different from what you are used to from the first film. Fifty Shades Darker mainly revolves around the blossoming love between Christian and Anastasia. And impressive, that Mr. Grey, but secretly I’m also a bit into Dakota Johnson, who this time has added some extra rounds in the weights. What a body!

Why you should gather all your girlfriends and plop down in the cinema seat?
