WITHIN TEN MINUTES A EASTER-PROOF HOUSE

These are the cutest DIY projects of the moment

Good morning, and a happy Easter to you! It is Easter Sunday and the chances are high that you have an Easter brunch, lunch, dinner, or maybe everything in one planned for today or tomorrow. Whether Easter for you means relaxing with your loved one or searching for eggs with the family, thanks to these DIY tricks, you’ll score points as soon as you walk in. And also not entirely unimportant: it is anything but complicated and fixed within ten minutes.

You really don't have to zigzag banners through the room, you know. You can just hang them from the ceiling to the floor. And then fill an entire wall. Quite cool.

Cut bunny ears out of different types of paper or craft pom-poms from wool if you have some lying around. Or better yet, cut up an old sweater in a few minutes. I mean: it’s Easter, it’s spring, so you don’t need those sweaters anymore, right? Thread, braid, or tie it to a nice ribbon and your garland will be chilling on the wall just in time.

Flowers

When you think of Easter, you think of spring. And when you think of spring, you think of the most beautiful flowers. Haven’t had time to bike by the florist? Then just go for picking. And no, I’m not talking about your neighbor’s front yard. Take a stroll in the park and you’ll see that you’ll come home with the most beautiful wildflower bouquet ever.

Easter branches

Sounds very cliché, but it doesn’t have to be. For example, pimp your branch with sticky pom-pom balls or dip the branches in metallic paint or cool glitter. Put them in a vase or lay them as decoration on your set table.

Choose your vase

Wrap hyacinths in newspaper or present your freshly picked flowers in a broken eggshell. The cutest, right?

One egg is no egg

Start the day with a round of Pinterest, but be careful, because it can be addictive. Once scrolling, you can hardly stop. From eggs dipped in gold, graphic artworks with eyes and lipsticks, or described in a graffiti-like manner. Fun as decoration in the house, even more fun as a surprise on your plate.

Napkin ring

Or as a border around, for example, your glass, bowl, lampshade, or front door. What do you need? A roll of twine, again picked flowers, and knots and decorate away.

Mini gift

Leave a small moment of happiness behind. A fluffy chick or chocolate eggs, for example. Fill a small bag from, for example, Hema with a sweet little gift and place it on the breakfast plates or stick them on a card as an Easter card.
