This is and will always be our favorite. Do you have a nice bottle in front of you? The only thing you need to do is scan the label. Then Vivino lists everything you want to know: grape, origin, and even where to buy it. Rate the wines you've drunk and Vivino creates a personal taste profile, including recommendations for wines you should try. Your friends can see which wines you've tasted and can respond to this. Winestein

Winestein is your personal sommelier. There are two options: enter what you are going to eat and Winestein gives you suggestions for the best matching wines. No inspiration for your dinner? Then enter the wine you feel like and the app comes up with recipes and the best food pairings.

Superwijnen

Wine journalist Harold Hamersma tells you with his app which wines best match your preferences. Indicate which price category you are looking for a wine in and which grape you prefer, then Superwijnen goes searching. With a database of over 1000 wines, there is always a bottle to find that meets your requirements. Additionally, Superwijnen has the same function as Vivino: scan a wine and receive all the information immediately. The Vivino database is a bit larger.

Are you looking for an app that is not only about wine but about all kinds of alcohol? Then download Thirst. Keep track of everything you drink that contains alcohol with this app. Make wish lists, inventory lists, and compare prices and offers at different stores.

WineRatings+

This app is for everyone who doesn't know much about wines yet but would like to know more. It is the app of the American magazine Wine Spectator. With the app, you get answers to all your pressing questions about wine and everything around it. Additionally, you see per region when your wine is best to drink. The app also provides insight into the latest trends: which wines should you buy to impress and which wines are a complete miss?
