5 hotspots you must check out when you're in Bilbao

Soon to Bilbao and no clue where to go? Ha. Hang on a bit. Annabelle and I flew to Northern Spain last week for a work/chill weekend. And of course, we had to immediately scout the best spots in Bilbao. You're welcome, huh.
Here you will have breakfast
Remember this name: Brass. Dragonfruit bowls, acai bowls, avo toasts, pancakes; you name it and they have it. Not only a great plan for breakfast, but also for a glass of wine in the afternoon and some tapas.

Address: Poza Lizentziatuaren Kalea, 27
Here you will eat pinchos in the evening
I mean: you are in Northern Spain, so it seems clear to me that you will eat pinchos. Think of it as the fancier brother of tapas. The base seems simple: a crunchy fresh baguette, but the toppings make it complete. Víctor Montes on Plaza Nueva has the really good pinchos if you ask me (oh, and say hi to the Robert de Niro lookalike. Small guy, gray hair, works hard, sweetest).

Address: Plaza Nueva, 8
Here you will drink wine
Hey, and if you are hanging out at Plaza Nueva, then grab a glass of wine at Bar Zuga. Just take the red house wine, it's the best and costs nothing. And remember: drink it at the bar, as a true Spaniard would, don’t sit down.

Address: Plaza Nueva, 12
Here you will sleep
If you have booked a ticket to Bilbao and have no clue where to crash: we slept at the Ercilla Hotel. Think: photogenic rooms, soft beds, and a nice shower. In addition, Ercilla is conveniently located, so you are in the shopping streets in no time.

Here you will drink cocktails
Since we are talking about hotel Ercilla, make sure to check out rooftop bar Le Club for one of the best city views in town (here's proof). Gin and tonic in your hand and do nothing more.

Address: Ercilla Kalea, 37-39
