A cool TV, a pretty good idea

I allow myself strange extras in my life. For example, I have a small climate cabinet in my bedroom. For wine, yes. When our daughters were time-consuming monsters, I spent evenings in my bedroom. We had to make it cozy there, so: a climate cabinet. Used three times, you understand. Soon I'll be storing my shoes in it, but it just shows that being kind to yourself is high on my list.

When the cold - well, it wasn't that bad but it was dark - winter approached, a new TV seemed like a great plan. Of course a Philips TV, because a Dutch heart and always technological gadgets that made people happy. Just before Christmas, a huge box was delivered to me, I was almost shocked.

Once unpacked, its slender figure turned out to fit perfectly in my interior. I decided to transform the back room into a children's cinema. Bench, check, extremely large lazy chair, check. The unique thing about this TV, we're talking about the Philips TV OLED Ambilight, is that the screen is razor-sharp. As if you're sitting between Fallon and Blake (sorry, new addiction) when watching Dynasty. Oh yes, side note but still: this is really the first TV in my life that I don't fumble with the remote control. Hooray for the separate Netflix button (but really HOORAY) and all the clear services. I switch from Netflix to TV and can really easily find all the extra features; something I sometimes struggled with on other TVs (think three remote controls and a lot of sighing).

Anyway, what really creates a cinema setting is the Ambilight technology on the back of the screen. That's LED lighting on the back of the screen that changes color with the image on TV, making your wall and your entire living room reflect what you're watching. It really immerses you, shall I say. Another unique invention from Philips TV. Do you find that too much? No worries. One push of a button and you can turn it off.

Furthermore, I just find it beautiful. That Philips OLED 9002 TV with Ambilight, right? Not a bulky beast, but a slender, extremely narrow screen with a beautiful stand. What I like to do is put on a nice fashion film, just as a living painting. You can call me crazy, but it looks cozy. In the mood to binge seriously? These are all the fresh Netflix series. And that fantastic TV, you buy it here.
