All the rumors about ‘Who is the Mole?’ that we need to talk about for a moment
This weekend, the rumor mill was working overtime. Rik van de Westelaken was spotted on the plane with the Who is the Mole? candidates of 2019. Holy moly. Missed it? Let me catch you up.
Imagine this: being on vacation in May/June and seeing a group of Dutch celebrities walking by with cameras around them, Rik van de Westelaken leading the way. It can only mean one thing, right? This happened to radio maker Ilan Hoekstra during a vacation in Colombia. You heard that right: Colombia. He spoke to one of the three celebrities, who told him they were there for a new travel program from RTL. It all sounded quite unbelievable, given that the celebrity in question (a man) was, according to Ilan, ‘totally not the type for it’. Hmmm. So what we know is that A: there is a man in the final and B: the cast of ‘Who is the Mole?’ has at least flown back home from Colombia.
Crime reporter John van den Heuvel adds to this by saying this weekend on RTL Boulevard that he was also on the plane with the cast of ‘Who is the Mole?’. “I got on the plane and then noticed some unrest. My camera crew recognized some cameramen, colleagues.” John's team immediately took a photo of Rik van Westelaken, but they are keeping tight-lipped about the other candidates. “I promised a very concerned production leader not to say anything,” said John.
