And now over to Kiki Paulusma with the weather
To start with the good news: tomorrow will be lovely. As in: 24 degrees, bare legs, terrace weather, ice cream; everything you want in the summer. After that, the fun is over because a significant change is coming. It will be, eh, not so warm in the coming week. There is even a special name for it (quite hilarious actually) several days of cold in a row in the second half of June: ‘sheep shearers’ cold’. Characteristic of a strong wind and cool sea air that is blown deep inland. Brrrr. I think I’ll just let you know, in case you were planning to wear that new dress or fire up the barbecue this week. Better not. Are we in trouble for long? God, thankfully not. Starting next Monday, drier air will come in, the sun will shine again, and the wind will calm down to raise the temperatures again. Just a little more time for jeans in the meantime. And enjoy that last warm day extra tomorrow. See you tomorrow!
